Hi, I'am Kristers👋

I'am a technical school, Computer Systems Technician graduate from Ventspils Technical School. Graduated in 2023, and from that time I have been searching for an opportunity to apply my skills and grow professionally. For 1 year in 2024 I moved away from IT and started some hobbies of my own. After that, I decided to return and persue a carrer in IT. Now I have been home studying in Network Administration and Analysis, Web development and overall coding. Developing more knowledge in IT.

My skils includes the base of web development - HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Also, I have knowledge in setting up local networks, servers and databases. Working with operating systems like Windows and Linux, programms like Wireshark for network monitoring and analysis.

Experience

My experience includes various projects and practical knowledge gained during my studies and personal endeavors. Started from a young age with building computers, and persuided a carrer in IT.

Studies

In overall I gained a lot of knowledge in IT fields studing in Technical School. Starting from the basics of computer hardware and software, I progressed through network administration, database management, and web development. Localy creating a database for WordPress. Configuring local and remote networks for client needs. Learned about servers and their configuration, progressing through the process of setting up and managing networks and servers. As of now, some of the knowledge maybe is outdated, but I am still learning and improving.

Hobbies

My hobbies include building computers, playing video games, and reading about technology. As in the time when I took a break from IT, me and my friend started a car detailing bussines. Where I was responsible for the car cleaning, polishing and waxing. In the same time I was learning about cars and the mechanical side of them, how to fix them on how to maintain them.

In the same time I was doing a mentoring studies for young people, and started my work in mentoring teens, beeing the support person. (Have the official license in my cv)

Work Experience

In my time studying in Technical school, I got a practical work experience in telecommunication company, called SIA "GP Systems", where my main role was to set up an telecommunication station on a cell tower for mobile networks and signals. The job mostly was to set up the station correctly and make sure it was working properly. Working with signla cabels and optical cables, making sure everything was connected properly. I think the experience has helped me understand the importance of attention to detail and working in a team environment. And overall knowledge of 4G and 5G networks in cell towers.

Home Studying

During my free time, I continue to study and improve my skills in various IT fields. I focus on web development, programming languages, and system administration. I also keep up with the latest trends in technology and try to apply what I learn in practical projects.
